I have a passion for travel. You could say it even runs in the family! My sister worked in the travel industry and loved it and I enjoyed many of her great perks, traveling to popular vacation destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. So many people started asking me for travel advice that I started my own travel agency and never looked back. I'm so passionate about sharing my adventures and tips with my clients that I figured I should start a blog to share my favorite tips, pictures and more with even more people.
Group vacations have gained popularity in recent years… destination weddings, family reunions and girlfriend getaways, really any occasion or no occasion at all.
Everyone is looking at 2015 group and destination wedding vacations already and it is not too soon! Popular vacation companies are starting to publish their flights for winter 2015, including non-stop charter flights, a popular and more economical choice for groups. Non-stop flights from Chicago and non-stop flights from Minneapolis are now available for winter of 2015 and non-stop flights from Milwaukee should be available soon (I promise).
When you travel as part of a group, in addition to having even MORE fun, you often get a lot of great perks for traveling as a group. Depending on the size of your group, you can receive everything from free air tickets and rooms to discounts for all members of your part and more!
The popular all-inclusive RIU Resorts in Mexico, Jamaica and Punta Cana, for example, offer 1 free passenger for as little as every 6th paid passenger. It’s AWESOME! I’ve had destination wedding brides and grooms receive big refunds to offset the cost of their room!
When booking your group, there are two different ways to book with In Any Event Travel. I’ve briefly described them here and will work closely with you to help determine the best way to book your group vacation.
Is your group traveling from different cities or on varying dates over the same period? The Funjet Vacations Groups Your Way is the perfect option for your group. It is the most popular way of booking group vacations because of its flexibility as well as the unbeatable offers for group vacations.
• Complimentary hotel stays at participating resorts
• Groups of 20 or more traveling on a non-stop charter flight receive 1 free seat for every 20 paid guests
• Free 2-night return anniversary stay for the bride and groom if booking a destination wedding at a participating resort
• An online booking site customized for your group
The one caveat to this option is that pricing and availability is not guaranteed because members of your group can book at their own pace, so it is important to move your guests along in their booking to make sure there is enough air and hotel space available.
Everyone in the group traveling together? If all of your members are traveling on the exact same itinerary from on a non-stop charter flight, your group should look at a group vacation contract. A group contract provides a number of flexible policies as well as a very convenient, low deposit of just $50.
Now for my disclaimer… these offers can change and are dependent on size, dates, destination, hotel and just how cool your group is (just making sure you’re still reading). Planning a group vacation can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Leave your group to me – event travel is part of my business name for a reason!
